Denpoin-dori

Denpoin-dori is about 200m long and there are various shops lined up by skilled craftsmen. The wooden signboards that shaped the product are a remnant designed to make it easier for people who could not read the letters to understand at a glance. In addition, there are lanterns depicting words popular in the Edo period and dolls of the “Nezumi-Kozo”, a thief who made a sensation in the town of Edo.
